Contrary to many established “Don’t hate the player, hate the ADP” fantasy gurus, I do hate the players — sinking ADP be damned. There are so few bites of the apple in a fantasy football draft, each coming at a tremendous opportunity cost. Winning’s all about drafting *your* guys who check all *your* boxes with a chance to break the weekly slate. I’m not in the business of catching falling knives (in football, at least).
Shoot the moon, be risky within reason — most football players get hurt anyway and *NO ONE* can predict injuries.
Unlike baseball, hitting the nuts on just one or two NFL picks means a huge percentage boost toward not just making the playoffs but winning the league outright. I trim the player pool down very far, but some players are on the ZERO SHARE list, almost regardless of price (BELOW)
